Who is the one blind, the one with or the one without sight?

Lex Gillette is the best totally blind long and triple jumper in the history of U.S. Paralympics. He is the current world record holder in the long jump, a three-time Paralympic medalist, a two-time long jump world champion, and a 16-time national champion. He is the only totally blind athlete in the world to eclipse the 22-foot barrier in the long jump. Think all of this came easy, think again.

I have known this amazing man for 12 years and find him to be nothing more than remarkable.  Lex is a singer song writer, an athlete, and a motivational speaker. He was recently featured in a P&G commercial that ran during the Paralympic Games that took place in Rio de Janeiro.

Today we are going to explore the real disability of being blind and hopefully get us to see where true vision lies.

Get ready to bust some stereotypes and break through to your new normal this week with my great friend, Lex Gillette.
