In the description, you will find information such as that the artist started somewhere, came to New York to learn from someone and launched their first exhibits in some year. However, the descriptions would not tell you what happened to the artist before the exhibition or the successes. You will not know how the artist was rejected by gallerists, brokers, other artists, or art institutions before someone says yes. They would not tell you that the artist was being doubted by everyone around because of the world associate successes with profitability. In this iconic city of art, New York, how many artists do you know that continue to pursue their dreams despite constant discouragement? Today I have the fortune to invite one of the most talented up and coming artists in New York City, John P Hackett, to share with us his story.
