"When I was 27 I went down to Peru to do Ayahuasca, which is a psychedelic medicine. It basically kicked my butt. I went down there kind of arrogantly, not knowing what to expect, but it was very powerful... One of the things that I want to tell people is that when I was opened up to the Ayahuasca journey, I was opened up too soon. I don't want to deter anybody from doing it - everybody's experience is going to be different - but I went through the filter of my past lives and my past karma. I definitely spent past lives as a priest and doing a lot of strong Catholic work, where the dogma was integrated into my energy body, and I had to clean it out. There is a period when you're going through this dark night where you're just clearing out the baggage. But as you start to clear the layers, you start to see the light more and more."
