LFE was lucky enough to catch Johann Jobello, Rum Product Manager for La Maison & Velier, while he was in town briefly to debut an incredible assortment of products to the Twin Cities. Johann is an absolute force in his sprawling knowledge of rum distilling, and came heavily equipped with an absolute onslaught of goodies from the Transcontinental Rum Line, Papalin and Hampden families of rum (and friends Kate Perry of La Maison & Velier, and Jon Olson of Libation Project!) to share with Ben & Charles, as they discussed each of those offerings, in addition to recommendations of food and beverages to seek out in the Caribbean, what other locales can impart from French craftsmanship, favorite off the radar rum cocktails, friendliest cities to travel to, and more.
