Bowker, which provides data about self-publishing, reports the practice has become so widely available it now contains a million users per year. Each day approximately 2,700 new titles are released which results in almost double every day. Michele Barard is a Writer, Editor, and Entrepreneur who helps aspiring authors and businesspeople who want to establish their thought leadership in their industries get their messages into the world. “I can help educate your audience about the self-publishing process and how they can utilize their books to further their careers and develop a business”. New Orleans native Michele Barard is a graduate of Agnes Scott College with a BA in International Relations. Ms. Barard lived in Mexico and Central America for several years and has worked as a computer software trainer, graphic designer, editor, and writer. After returning to the U.S., she continued her training, graphic design, and writing career. With a deep passion for writing, both personally and professionally, Ms. Barard also founded the Urban Book Editor, which helps aspiring authors through professional editing, book development, and consulting.

Ms. Barard currently resides near Atlanta, Georgia, with her children where she writes and provides coaching to her clients.  She joined me this week to tell me more.
