Bryce Allemann and Kathy Hicks are a road tripping power couple that first hit the road in 2017. The first journey across the United States northern half consisted of 8,754 miles. That article can be seen in August 2018 Hot VWs magazine. They scheduled a month off of work to accomplish this feat in the 1967 SO42 Westy. Since then, they've had a desire to do it again which we were lucky enough to catch them on the return home from the latest southern US trip in their 67 VW bus. We discuss what it's like to be on the road for 30 days. Some of the mechanical challenges that they faced during this particular road trip. A lot of the cool things that you see when you're traveling the country by road. This VW bus a 1967 SO42 westfailia camper is more than just a bus. It was purchased brand new by Bryce's grandfather then give it to his father and gave it to Bryce. He's lawn more miles on this bus that his grandfather and father combined. Kathy is an equal partner and sharing all of the driving duties as well as planning some of the stops and making sure they get to squeeze in whatever is on their bucket list.
