This episode we’re joined by Antarctic Expedition Leader David Knoff. In 2019 David embarked to Antarctica, spending all of 2020 and 537 days away from the rest of civilisation - almost 200 days more than he was originally scheduled to. David shares with us his fascinating story of leading in isolation through the pandemic and some of the unique leadership challenges that he faced, as well as some key takeaways about leadership and group resilience. David also shares some unique observations he has about how society has adapted to living with the pandemic from his perspective as someone who only started living in ‘the COVID world’ in 2021.
