A young New Zealand woman meets a charmingly befuddled young bachelor and she is given a sign that they are destined to be together. A romance quickly blooms between the two lovers, and amidst pain, heartbreak and adversity, they overcome all obstacles in their way IN THIS COMPLETE GOREFEST. In the second episode of our L-O-V-E theme, Katie introduces Graham and Ashley to the 1992 Peter Jackson film, Dead Alive (aka Braindead). Notorious for being the bloodiest film ever made (measured in liters of blood used in production) this is one of the most over-the-top, ridiculously insane movies we have ever watched on the pod. It's the third film from Peter Jackson, who co-wrote it with Fran Walsh and Stephen Sinclair (the former who went on to share an Oscar with Peter for Lord of the Rings: Return of the King)...get ready for some of the grossest (and STUNNING) special effects, animatronics and puppet work we've ever seen. IT'S TIME TO KICK ASS FOR THE LORD in this Katie-style romance film...
