What a pleasure speaking with Hatha Yoga Teacher Sarita Nougain! In this episode, she shares about how the practice of Yoga (not just Asana but the other 7 limbs as well) informed her life philosophy. Specifically, Sarita discusses the reasons why most people suffer: 1) We place too much expectation and blame on other people rather than looking within 2) We are constantly needing and striving for more, more, more 3) We are too competitive and always comparing ourselves to other people. Instead, Sarita explains we should focus on the beauty and blessings that come from living without expectation, being grateful, and appreciating the encompassing, ever-present Super Energy in all that is.
