Many people want us to focus on our differences, but there is more to be gained by celebrating our similarities. That was the message at today’s Celebrate our Similarities event, hosted at the Zinthyia Trust Enterprise Hub. At the start of the day of talks and discussions, we managed to squeeze in a brief chat with some of the community champions attending and sharing their experiences of community action work in Leicester, and hearing about the peace pledge.
