Today we attended a presentation by Professor Simon Rogerson of De Montfort University about the need for investment in the ethical understanding of digital technologies. Simon told us how he views the potential of smart city technologies as sometimes overwhelming, and requiring us to think about the voices that are not heard when we put in place digital systems and services. We also spoke with Professor Bernd Stahl from the University of Nottingham.
