Who is John Terris, Georgia Fencing Academy Coach? (Epsd 2)

In part 2 of my session with John Terris, my fencing coach, we learn more about John himself as to how he got into the sport of fencing, the journey along the way, how the idea of coaching became a reality, his influences, tips/advice, and how he has grown the Georgia Fencing Academy program and brand.

BIO

John Terris is the head coach and owner/operator of Georgia Fencing Academy.  He is a Prevot de Foil & Épée with United States Fencing Coaches  Association, Academie Arms International, Moniteur of sabre, and  Certified Level 2 Épée coach through the USFA Coaches College at the  United States Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs, CO.

John has competed in regional and national events, has coached students in local, regional, national, international events, and is currently studying to earn his Maitre d’Armes certification as a Fencing Master.
