Kristin has built a really supportive community based on her value of simply showing up. 

She has become known for her stance on lifelong learning, and having incredible live conversations with people to learn more about what makes each of us tick. 

The idea of pursuing self-awareness as a lifelong goal is something that Kristin really understands.

We talked about pursuing a career in acting, having the humility to focus on her true values in life, how to get started as a content creator, what it was like to become a stand-up comedian, and some of her core memories in life.

Become A Content Creator
Kristin shared the main thing she thinks that holds people back is worrying about the results. If we stay in the present moment and create content that is in line with our values, then good things happen. 

We shouldn’t get stuck inside our own thoughts about how good, or bad we are as a creator. We shouldn’t be comparing ourselves to anyone else. We should just continue to show up for our audience and put the work in.

Kristin went into stand-up comedy in her fifties because it’s something she always thought of trying, she knew it would be a challenge that brought about healthy fear and she loves hearing people laugh.

She really stresses the importance of trying things out too. Over time, the more things we try, the closer and closer we’ll get to being in alignment with our life’s purpose and then the content creation will come more and more naturally.

Everyone in the world is trying to be someone else, but the greatest gift is the ability to just be yourself.Don’t worry about cliques, fitting in, or comparing yourself to others.Strive to figure out who you are, not who anyone else wants you to be.Life will be boring and stressful if you don’t build it for yourself.Focus on individuality and confidence. If you are a lifelong learner in those two areas you will live your best life.Remember that emotions, especially fear and sadness, are not only “o.k” but they are really valuable.If a certain path isn’t for you, whether it’s a job, sport, activity, or school, it’s no big deal, live in the moment and keep figuring it out for yourself.Don’t make decisions because they are what other people did. Learn from others, gather evidence and clues, but ultimately make your own decisions.
