Episode 77: Changes In The Housing Market with Anthony Scandariato

In this episode of Leafy Podcast, host Jennifer Gligoric talks with Anthony Scandariato, Founder of Red Knight Properties. Anthony is also the host of Discovering Multifamily Podcast. He has an extensive background in retail real estate investing and gives us his insight into moving from Class A office assets to Class C and D Multifamily investing. Anthony tells us that in order to find the best deals in REI, networking with local brokers has been his most successful approach.  Once you build a reputation in the industry, brokers will seek you out with their most lucrative investment opportunities. Anthony also says that moving from the retail space to multifamily was easy and a wise investment choice as it is predicted that there will be an overall housing shortage, according to the National Multifamily Housing Council,  we have to build 300K in new apartment communities (of 50 units and up) to keep up with with housing demand by 2030. Anthony ends with some great tips for multifamily investors on how to get through the Covid-19 pandemic.
