We all love to get a good deal. The BOGO or even BOGO 1/2 Off is worth the trouble to “hunt down” the deal or bargain shop. But everyone is leery of the “something for nothing deal” or the “too good to be true” deal.

For the 15+ years I have been in entertainment it has been the same. Everyone wants to budget wisely for their event and most consider the MC an afterthought. After all, everyone has access to Spotify - right? And my cousin went to Toastmasters once, she can make all the announcements. Sure. That will save you some money up front, but what is the cost of a WEDDING DAY DO-OVER? When the playlist bombs and the announcer says something completely unprofessional you cannot undo that.

Yes. This is just an example. We do a similar thing in hiring, in personal development, in leadership development for our teams. We buy used tires and get mad when we’re stranded on the side of the freeway - in August - in Texas - in Rush hour because of a blow out.
