Have you heard of the Blue Zones? This week Christy sits down with the author and founder himself. Dan Buettner is an American National Geographic Fellow and New York Times-bestselling author. Buettner reported his Blue Zones findings in his cover story for National Geographic Magazine's November 2005 edition, "Secrets of Long Life." The issue became the third best-selling issue in the magazine’s history. Buettner later released a book on these now well-known findings, "The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer From the People Who've Lived the Longest". In this episode Christy and Dan discuss how to integrate the knowledge we have from the Blue Zones.
