In this episode I talk to Eddy Smits about how he went from a hospital clown to a successful Positive Intelligence Coach. Eddy says "The only difference between a hospital clown and a leader is a change in costume." He believes that "you show people your vision, and let them follow you naturally."


 


Introduction


Eddy Smits is a TEDx speaker, an author and a licensed NLP practitioner.
He is a a certified Management Drives trainer, a certified Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach and a certified master Mindset Lifecoach. He also has a bachelor's in Pedagogy.


He was a professional artist for 22 years. 


He and his team developed and produced several educational programs, 25 theatre plays for children between 3 and 12 years old and a short movie. 


As a hospital clown, he visited more than 10.000 sick and palliative children. This led him to transfer into an expert in authentic communication. It was also the start of his own personal development journey.


Since 2012 he has been active in the field of Personal Development, where he applies an innovative approach to coaching, using the techniques of a hospital clown combined with positive intelligence to increase Mental Fitness and personal leadership.
