Christina Bennington slays the role of Raven, the young ingenue of "Bat Out of Hell: The Musical," whose father is a tyrant ruling over a post-apocalyptic city called Obsidian — formerly known as New York City. She is deeply in love with the forbidden heartthrob Strat, made forever young by an event called “the chemical wars” that froze him and his gang as eternal 18-year-olds. Raven, not frozen, has just turned 18 and longs for the freedom represented by Strat and his gang “The Lost” — she is the “Wendy” in this Peter Pan story, with Strat as a sexy, motorcycle riding Peter. The one thing they have in common is that they can both seriously ROCK.
