My comedian friend, Stewart Huff, has a bit about bears eating out of trash cans in Yellowstone. He quotes one ranger saying, “We don’t have a bear problem, we have a trash can problem because there is an overlap between the smartest bear and the dumbest human.”
Anyone who’s watched Yogi Bear knows that. Yogi and Boo Boo were constantly outsmarting Ranger Smith. You know Yogi’s licking his chops anytime he sees someone wearing a red MAGA hat because his picnic basket will be easy pickings.
Although I believe the former president’s followers aren’t the sharpest people, they do seem capable of learning because this week, when the president was indicted in New York, he’d called for his supporters to rally much as he did on January 6th, yet only a few people showed up. As with so much the former president did when he was in office, we are in for some interesting times head, but maybe there will be less political violence.
