LM, Episode 1171 (Remaster Episode 104, 2/27/20), You’re a Comedian 

Recently, going through airport security, the TSA woman looks at my driver’s license, “Kent Rader? Kent Rader?  You’re a comedian.”

I go, “I am? Well that explains a lot.”

When our daughter, Maggie, was in college, I took her and her boyfriend, Chris, to Strouds Restaurant in Kansas City.  Chris  loved Strouds because his grandfather used to take him there when Chris was a kid.  

As one often has to do at Strouds, we had to wait for a table.  I ask if they want something from the bar and Chris says he’ll have a Shirley Temple because his grandfather used to get him one.

I get to the crowded bar, order a beer for me, something for Maggie, and Chrirs’s Shirley Temple.  The bartender asks, “What, are you a comedian?”

I go, “Yes I am but what does that have to do with my drinks?”
