How do you price your services? Do you charge by time, by service difficulty, by how many certificates you have on your wall? There seems to be a lot of confusion on how much you should charge.

Years ago when we first got into lashing there were salons charging by how many lashes you applied. One salon near us would charge you a different price for 30 lashes, 60 lashes, or 90 lashes per eye. I remember hearing stories where clients would try to count how many lashes were applied just to make sure they were not getting ripped off.

While I'm thankful we have gotten away from that bad "best practice", a lot of lash artists still don't seem to know how to charge for their services. Everyone loves to say "charge your worth" online but what is your worth?

In today's episode, Kayly Hertz of Educated Artistry Podcast joins us in the LashCast booth at the Lash Vegas IBS show (yes we recorded this almost 6 months ago). Kayla has been podcasting for over 2 years now and in this episode, we sit down with her and talk about pricing. It's a great conversation and Kayla gives some great tips...so pull out your pen and paper so you can write them down.
