250. Dealing with Gossip and Difficult Conversations

This last week we have been dealing with some gossip about our old salon and our event, LachCon.

It's been painful to hear people share their opinions on us when it's so obvious they don't know us or haven't even been to either of our businesses.

Gossip can destroy a business, and it will definitely destroy a team from within as trust gets thrown out the window once gossip is allowed in the house. Gossip in a business creates a toxic environment that makes going to work a miserable place to be.

In today's episode, we share our thoughts on how we think it's best to handle situations where someone has upset you. The normal thing to do (sadly) is talk to everyone else in the world but the person who upset you. We hope after you listen to this episode, you might come up with a new strategy that will create less drama and better connections with people you have issues with.
