Does the Covid delta variant have you worried?
In the last week we have gotten some DMs and emails from our tribe asking us are we still planning on moving forward with the LASHCONference. In fact, some people have written me saying they were going to buy a ticket but now they don't feel it's safe.
I totally get it...it's a precarious time and we empathize with everyone who is concerned about how things are playing out.
In this episode, we address these concerns and share what our backup plans are if for any reason we are forced to shut down again here in California.
Do we think we'll be shut down in November...no...but we do want to share with you our plans just in case a worst-case scenario happens.
We recorded this short episode with the hopes to ease your concerns and free you to make plans to come this November. If you have been on the fence about whether you should buy a ticket or not, this episode is for you.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
YOU NEED TO ENTER THE FIRST ANNUAL "LASHIES"
There are two divisions to choose from: SOLO LASH ARTIST AND LASH SALON OWNER.
In each division, there are five categories: Overcoming Story, Customer Service, Client Retention and Referral Program, Technology, and Salon Design.
Each category essay will be rated by multiple anonymous judges. If your essay scores at the top of its category, you will receive a Lashies Award.
There can and most likely be more than one winner in each category.
For example, we don’t believe there is just one person who is best at “customer service”. Instead, we believe that many business owners can demonstrate excellence in any of our five categories.
The application fee is $50.
Winners will be announced on September 27, 2021.
We will host the first annual Lashies on Sunday night November 7, 2021, at the LASHCONference.
