We all love tips...but do you report your tips to the IRS?

"Eww...really Paul...you're making me sick...why did you have to ask THAT question? I think I'm going to throw up."

I know...not trying to upset anyone but this is something I feel we all need to talk about as there can be serious consequences if you don't do it correctly. Newsflash...if you get into a beef with the IRS...they always win.

Now, if you are like many lash artists, I'm guessing you don't report any of your tips or maybe you only report some of your tips. Even if you do report your tips I know you are certainly tempted to not do it...I know we have over the years felt the temptation.

But is not reporting your tips a good idea? I get it...we work hard for our money and it sucks to give the IRS any of that hard-earned cash.
