Grand County commissioners want more funding and safeguards for area public lands. They’re working on a federal bill proposal which currently includes five National Conservation Areas and an expansion to Arches National Park. Now, they’re looking for public input on this draft proposal. Plus, a report on a ‘vacant homes tax’ that means to return homes to the local rental market and raise revenue for affordable housing projects.
