As one of the volunteer trail stewards at Arches National Park, Sue Baril acts as ‘the eyes and ears’ for the park’s important natural and cultural resources. During a typical volunteer shift, Baril does a little bit of everything – from graffiti and off-trail mitigation to making sure visitors carry enough water. Today on the news, we hit the trail to learn more about the importance of volunteers at our local national parks.
