White Mesa Mill in San Juan County has been in violation of the Clean Air Act for nearly three years. Energy Fuels, the company that owns the mill, made an agreement with the Environmental Protection Agency to have their tailings cells in compliance by the end of March 2023. KZMU reporter Emily Arntsen joined public land advocates from EcoFlight and Grand Canyon Trust on a flight over the mill to check if the tailing cells were finally in compliance. Plus, we hear from our partners at Rocky Mountain Community Radio and KHOL in Jackson, WY, about recent changes in abortion laws.
