No cubs at nearby den could mean black bear numbers are down across Utah

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources visits black bear dens every spring to count the number of cubs. KZMU’s Emily Arntsen hiked into the Book Cliff mountains with DWR wildlife biologists to observe the process.
