The Moab community is raising funds for the family of a local man who lost his life in a car accident Sunday night. His son, also in the vehicle at the time, was last reported by the Moab Police Department to be in critical condition. The crash occurred at Center and Main Street in downtown Moab. Law enforcement are holding a suspect in custody on multiple charges including manslaughter and reckless driving. Then, the San Juan Health Service District now has $5.3 million in funding to build a clinic in Spanish Valley. Plus, an art exhibit honoring Utah women travels across state museums. Tune in.

Show Notes:

[Update 2/12]: Vilsar Camey's son, Israel Camey, has also passed away from injuries he sustained in the car accident. Donations for the family are being accepted at Zions Bank and Eastern Utah Community Credit Union under the name Monica Camey. A Go Fund Me account has also been created for donations: https://www.gofundme.com/f/accident-in-moab-utah-292020?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=m_pd+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR2LRFvEG12pzGmToAPVc7MbJadxv80RKLqxHpte3R0ZNlENuXtIy0_X31g
