When Governor Herbert re-opened many Utah businesses at the beginning of May, he also approved Grand County’s much stricter local regulations on overnight lodging and camping. As these statewide plans get crafted, how do our local officials communicate with the Governor’s office to ensure new health orders work for Grand County? We speak with Grand County Attorney Christina Sloan, who is involved in these negotiations. Plus, more on masks with Moab Sun News managing editor Maggie McGuire.
