As Utah experiences a large upswing in confirmed COVID-19 cases, Grand County reports two new positives since Friday, bringing the local total to 14. The Grand County Council will be considering mandatory face coverings, which the Governor recently allowed for Salt Lake and Summit Counties. And later, a lightening-caused fire in the Manti-La Sal National Forest is still burning today. Public land managers say that COVID-19 is influencing their approach to fire this season. And finally, our radio partners report on the U.S.-Mexico borderland, where progress on a wall has not slowed for coronavirus. But that’s not the case for a small stretch of tribal land on the Colorado River. Tune in.
