The Emery County Public Land Management Act recently passed the U.S. Senate as part of sweeping national conservation legislation. The bill includes protections for 663,000 acres of lands in Emery County, including the San Rafael Swell, Desolation and Labyrinth Canyons. KZMU News spoke with Neal Clark, Wildlands Program Director at the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance to learn more.
