A group of fifty people experiencing homelessness who are predominantly female have secured an unprecedented agreement, signing a lease with the city of Sacramento, which allows them to dwell on a city-owned lot called Camp Resolution. The property is located in North Sacramento on Arden Way and Colfax Street - they're allowed to dwell there until each individual has transitioned into durable, permanent housing. The success of their city agreement was assisted by a coalition involving attorney Mark Merin and Councilman Sean Loloee. KVMR's Heidi Starr visited the lot to speak with its residents and learn more about their aspirations.
