A strong, high pressure weather system over Eastern Canada is resulting in very warm Canadian weather and very cool weather in the southeast United States, as well as on the west coast. The phenomenon is sometimes referred to as a Rex Block. KVMR's Al Stahler speaks with Matthew Igel, a professor of meteorology at UC Davis, about why it's occurring, and what it means for California.
