In 2017, I partnered with my Mom and opened a small franchising business. Fast forward to 2019 and we are now expecting changes in the business which led me to reflect on what the past two years and 1 1/2 months has been like. Definitely there's stress, and also a few other frustrating moments, but there are also many new lessons I learned, many new discoveries I made about myself and about doing business, and many blessings including the people I encountered whom I am so grateful for.
Let me share to you some of my experiences and what I've learned so far. A side note though, there are no two businesses alike. Your experience (or what would be your experience if you are now planning on it) might not be the same as mine. That's okay. We all get to enjoy our own journeys in life.
And no matter how small your business, you can still learn a ton of lessons and skills that'll last you a lifetime. Don't be disheartened if things don't go your way. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. ^^
