Let’s talk about creating your own Self-Care Squad.  Positive relationships are central to our well-being.  In positive psychology, our connections with others help our well-being and significant ties to our happiness.  You can also see these findings in one of the founders of positive psychology, Dr. Martin Seligman’s well-being theory.

One positive intervention that our host, Dr. Kortni Alston, recommends during her training sessions is creating a Self-Care Squad.

In this episode, you will meet Rachel Mann and Jeanette Jordan, two of Dr. Kortni's Self-Care Squad members.

Rachel is a public relations and communication professional with a career that spans almost two decades.   Currently, she serves as Communication Program Manager in the Public Division of the Service of Employee International Union, one of the largest unions in the United States.  Rachel has worked as a communications expert in higher education and corporate America.

Jeanette is a strategic business consultant and executive coach with a decade of experience working in the technology industry. She helps leaders define their strategies and tell their stories.  Jeanette has rebranded or repositioned several companies, including Verizon, PayPal, and Factual.

These two women are positive, phenomenal, and powerhouses in their field and are proud members of Dr. Kortni's Self-Care Squad. They will teach you how to create your super Self-Care Squad.
