We have a much more recent episode and the audio on this one is…not great.  If you’ve never listened to the podcast before…maybe don’t listen to this one first?  Unfortunately we had to choose between recording in the cafe where we have knit night or not recording for two weeks over the holidays, so we went with recording in the cafe, which means there’s quite a bit of background noise.  I’ve tried to get rid of the worst of it, and hopefully you can still make us out.  We’ll record a proper episode soon!

In Adventures in Knitting, Maggie can’t really talk about her swap projects yet because the package still hasn’t arrived, so she’s talking about the Bob Socks and the Intermezzo cowl instead!  Karen, meanwhile, can finally talk about her swap projects, as well as her progress on the Myrtle Scarf and the Honey Cowl, and what she’s hoping to work on over the holidays (spoiler alert: she didn’t get a chance to do any of it).

In Geek Squee, STAR WARS!  Which  Karen did not have a chance to see at the time of recording, so while we could discuss reporting about the movie, you’ll have to wait for a review.  Also, Netflix has released patterns and instructions for socks that can tell when you fall asleep and pause your TV (!!!), we’re not discussing Agents of SHIELD because everything is painful and everything hurts, OMG Captain America: Civil War and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailers(!!!!!!!), and there’s been some really cool casting for the Harry Potter sequel play, “The Cursed Child”.

Finally instead of Cravings, Covets and Crushes, we have our resolutions or intentions for the following year, which include spinning, weaving, and not buying as much yarn from the US, because oh God, the Canadian dollar right now you guys.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and has a wonderful 2016!
