Description: God is love, its who he is, and therefore is not dependent on us. He loves everyone, but not everyone receives it. Jesus express that we need to let his love continually nourish our hearts, implying he is always loving us no matter what, but there is an allowing (letting) on our part, of our our hearts in receiving his love. Although his love never stops and always gives of itself freely, any operation that is of our old nature, pride, fear, striving in our own strength ect will prevent us from receiving his love. When we receive the revelation of the love of Jesus that surrendered himself and allowed himself to be completely broken for us, only then are we able to allow ourselves to be completely broken for him, that is the breaking of our pride, and everything of 'self'. It is when we have allowed ourself to be broken in this way, allowed his love to humble us that we can receive, abide, and manifest the fullness of his life, his love, till it overflows in and through us, to the world around us. This is where revival is, where healing, restoration and transformation is, where miracles happen, where unity of one heart and mind happens, that Jesus said is what would cause the world to believe that he really was sent by the father. God is pouring out his love to us today, will we come before him and ask how have I hindered my heart from receiving your love? Is there any part of my flesh/'self'/ pride that still needs broken at the cross? Ask him to break it so that we can be filled to overflowing with the manifestation of all that he is, of his great love for us.
