Prophecy: Then & Now. The Role of the Prophetic in Building God's Kingdom

Louise Campion: We are all part of a big story - God's Story - and whenever God asks us to build something for His Kingdom, opposition from the enemy comes to try and hinder that from happening. This is clearly seen in the book of Ezra with the rebuilding of the Temple. At the point when discouragement, opposition, fear, apathy, and wrong priorities are at their height, some very potent prophetic words are spoken to the leaders and the people to urge, exhort, encourage, and refocus the people to get back to doing what God had asked them to do. We see the power of the prophetic in action and how it has the ability to shift situations that are stuck, and transform people who are floundering, back into their purpose and destiny. In the same way that the prophetic brought change and encouragement then, the prophetic brings change and encouragement now, to us as KingsGate, while we are in a Kingdom 'building project' of our own in light of the words spoken over us at Dwell 2014. Its time to meet our responsibility.
