The novel Coronavirus COVID-19 was given pandemic designation by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. Today, on March 15, 2020, almost 170,000 individuals have been infected, with that number quickly rising. Furthermore, toilet paper, Lysol wipes and masks are at a shortage and carnage is occurring at grocery stores around the globe.

But how serious is this issue? Should we be worried or is this just an over-reaction? And how can we prepare, prevent and help?
