Sexual Assault in Isla Vista was the subject of a recent cover story in the Santa Barbara Independent. It was written by a UC Santa Barbara student who details the hook-up culture that she says is rampant in her neighborhood. KCSB's Lisa Osborn spoke with victim advocate Briana Conway, director of the UCSB's CARE (Campus Advocacy and Resources and Education) office, where she works directly with many survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking.
