Dr. Norbert Reich is a distinguished professor in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at UC Santa Barbara. Together with a team of researchers, he has identified a new way of regulating an enzyme that mutates in leukemia patients, as well as new means to treat leukemia that aren’t as toxic as chemotherapy.
KCSB's Jackie Sedley spoke with Dr. Reich about his findings, and what they can mean for the future of cancer treatment.
