Hali Academy Tamba Hali, Founder & Executive Director

Hali Academy exposes underserved students to opportunities in the STEM sector. Our mission is to make STEM accessible to all students regardless of their race or socioeconomic status. Minorities are currently highly underrepresented in the industry; consequently, we provide scholarships to students pursuing careers in STEM.
Tamba Hali enjoyed a successful career in the NFL and was known for getting sacks and causing havoc on the field. Now he is sacking the opportunity gap in the STEM field. Tamba Hali’s passion grew from watching his father Henry Hali serve as a science teacher and professor for over 30 years. Coming from the poorest country in the world, Liberia, Tamba allowed education to be his way out. That being said, Hali Academy will impact underserved students in both America and Liberia.
