Previous Episode: Ep 10 - Failure is Good

Feeling stuck can be a frustrating and overwhelming experience, but with the right mindset and tools, you can break through those barriers and start moving forward towards your goals.

So, what does it mean to feel stuck?

It's that feeling of being trapped, like you're not making any progress in some, or all, areas your life, whether it's your career, your relationships, or your personal growth.

It's important to recognise that feeling stuck is a normal part of the human experience. We all go through periods of stagnation and uncertainty, but the good news is that there are practical steps you can take to get unstuck and start living the life you want to live.

The first step to getting unstuck is to identify where exactly it is that you feel stuck.

Is it a particular relationship, maybe you're in a relationship is draining and not going anywhere, maybe you feel trapped due to financial or emotional dependence.

Maybe you feel that you're stuck with some habits that you want to change; such as smoking, drinking, overeating, watching too much TV or not exercising.

Another place people often feel stuck is with negative thoughts and beliefs: For example: maybe you (wrongly) think that you are not smart enough or not capable of success. Or maybe you (again, wrongly) believe that you're "too old" or "too young" or "not ready"… sound familiar?

A common complaint of some of my coaching clients is Career dissatisfaction: they feel stuck in jobs that they don't enjoy or that don't align with their values, and sometimes they feel trapped due to financial or professional obligations.

In this episode I talk about how I gave up alcohol which helped me to become unstuck in some areas of my life.
