More than two dozen African American Republicans are running for Congress, and there have been small increases in Black support for that party in the past two elections. GOP leaders are hoping that trend continues, and are strongly supporting black candidates including Georgia senate hopeful Herschel Walker. But CBS News political contributor and Democratic strategist Antjuan Seawright tells Allison his party is trying hard to energize Black voters as well.
