On this week's "Kaleidoscope with Allison Keyes", we discuss the problem of climate change and its effect on low-income, urban communities. Decades of segregation forced many Blacks and Hispanics into places where there are few trees and bad air quality, and temperatures that are at least 13 degrees higher than nearby wealthy neighborhoods. Allison speaks with Anna Bettis, Arizona Healthy Cities Program Director for the Nature Conservancy. The non-profit is the world's largest conservation organization, and has been partnering with others to help mitigate the problem.
