Our days as coaches can often feel like a constant barrage of decisions big and small, which can result in the overwhelm known as “decision fatigue.” Expert and coach Rahti Gorfien shares advice on escaping the grind of too many decisions.

Rahti Gorfien is a certified life coach, accredited ADHD coach, and founder of Creative Calling Coaching.

Today, Melinda and Rahti talk about:Indecision being a form of self-abuseHow we avoid decisions to stay in comfort and safetyBringing others into your decision-making Decision fatigueHow working on your own decision-making helps your clients as wellMaking a decision versus letting it reveal itselfMelinda's decision-making policiesSymptoms of decision fatigueThe importance of planning and the role of intuition

“The times that I made what I would consider mistakes are when I decided to do something, but was so insecure in myself that I didn't want to share the various options with anyone else.” — Rahti Gorfien

Once an aspiring but struggling performer, Rahti Gorfien has since realized the diversity of her background is clearly a key element in the evolution of her coaching style. Having been an actor, playwright, standup comic, private cook, company manager, restaurant hostess, and adoptive parent, she can accurately say she’s experienced life from many enriching perspectives. She even spent several years as a full-time yogini living at an ashram in Pennsylvania!
If you haven’t guessed by now, Rahti is a seeker — and as a result, her approach to life and coaching is both humorous and compassionate. In addition to having become a professionally certified coach, she has been helping individuals realize their creative, vocational, and personal potential since 1990.
