SYFY Wire Fangrrls writers Alyssa Fikse (@lyssiefikse) and Jessica Toomer (@jessica_toomer) tackle episode two of season two of The Last Kingdom, and while we may have been optimistic about Uhtred’s chances at happiness in the last episode, that fleeting bit of goodness was short lived. Sure, he’s found the love of his life, Gisela, but people are not as quick to get on board as the lovebirds may have hoped. All the while, Uhtred must deal with some particularly meddlesome priests. Plus, Hild is busy dealing with her PTSD in a particularly violent and satisfying way.
