Can you believe we’re in the last month of the year?! And what a year it’s been.

Today, I share four thoughts/observations/reflections as we approach the last month of the year.

A movie recommendation for anyone who has a strained relationship with their family. It reiterates the point I made in episode 22 that people are people and the relationships we have are based on the meaning we give them rather than being based on a shared bloodline.

A few things to keep in mind as we take stock on what we’ve achieved this year. With the pandemic, killings of unarmed Black people and the racial reckoning that followed as well as the recent U.S. election, there has been a lot we’ve dealt with this year. It’s important to keep our achievements in perspective.

Some pointers for college students who’ll be finishing their last weeks of classes at home after Thanksgiving break.

Words of encourage for those feeling anxious about setting goals or intentions for 2021.
