Taking refuge in God is an act of our faith. We turn to our Omnipotent Father to supply all our needs, including peace and protection. As believers, especially those who live with anxiety, can take refuge in God to find comfort amid his struggles. Taking refuge in God means that even when anxiety arises, we remind ourselves of God's presence, promises, and power that provide us with hope in every circumstance.
Key Scripture
Psalm 61:4
“I will live in Your tent forever and take refuge under the shelter of Your wings. Selah”

Psalm 57:1
“For the choir director: “Do Not Destroy.” A Davidic Miktam. When he fled before Saul into the cave. Be gracious to me, God, be gracious to me, for I take refuge in You. I will seek refuge in the shadow of Your wings until danger passes.”
